Bulletin Bored is a digital bulletin board for your city: every board is a wall of notes posted by real people nearby — a venue announcing a show, a neighbor hosting a potluck, a business with something worth tacking up. No algorithmic feed, just paper worth reading.
This blog is where we'll write about building it.
What you'll find here
- Updates — new features, new boards, and the occasional behind-the-scenes look at how the board works.
- Opinion — what we think about local community, events, and the internet's habit of turning both into feeds.
- FAQ — longer answers to the questions we get asked most, from posting an event to reaching the next town over.
Why a bulletin board
The corkboard at the coffee shop never asked you to scroll. You walked up, you read what was there, and you left knowing what was happening on your street this week. That's the whole idea — we just made it work for a city instead of a hallway.
See you on the board.
